MARIE LEUENBERGER
ACTRESS
Marie Leuenberger of German-Swiss descent, won Best Actress at both the Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn 2020 and Avanca Film Festival 2021 for “Bis wir tot sind oder frei“ by Oliver Rihs.
She received further honors for her role in “The Divine Order“, directed by Petra Volpe, including awards at the New York Tribeca Film Festival, the Ferrara Film Festival and the Swiss Film Award 2017.
For her film debut in Micha Lewinskys “Die Standesbeamtin“ she won Best Actress again at both the Swiss Film Award and the World Film Festival in Montreal 2009.
Her latest work include the feature films “Mother’s Baby,” directed by Johanna Moder, and “Stiller,” directed by Stefan Haupt.
In the series “Ein Krimi aus Passau“ Leuenberger is solving criminal cases as a police officer in witness protection.
Marie Leuenberger is represented by Katrin Wans.
