Katrin Wans holds more than thirty years of industry experience across television, film, and theatre. After studying comparative literature, art history, and theatre in Bonn and Vienna, Katrin began working as a theatrical producer and director, which afforded her first-hand experience in the auditioning, rehearsal, and performance experience of actors and actresses. In 1996, she then joined the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in the production department.
In 2003, she founded her own talent agency before incorporating with Above the Line in 2004. She has decades of experience representing artists as they find the projects that best suit their talents, values, and aspirations. She lives and works in Berlin and Rome.
As one of Talent Republic’s four CEOs, Katrin represents actors and actresses.

GRETA CARL
AGENT
Greta Carl grew up in the Rhine-Main area and has been in the theatre world since she was a child. She gained experiences in the film industry by working for film production companies and as an assistant director. Greta Carl worked for Above the Line (assistant of Uschi Keil and Patricia Barona) for over 8 years and is now an Agent in the acting department of Katrin Wans.
Recently, Greta started to build her own portfolio with young talents and is representing actors and cinematographers.

Katharina Förster
ASSISTANT
Driven by curiosity for the industry, Katharina Förster studied acting in Sydney, Australia. Afterwards, she completed her Bachelor’s program in Theatre Education at the Universities Hannover and Brisbane, and finished her Master’s Degree in Theatre Studies at the FU Berlin.
Soon after, she worked as an assistant to the board for the LAFT Berlin (Landesverband für freie darstellende Künste).
For several years, she trained and worked at the KBB (artistic administration department) of Deutsches Theater Berlin and Münchner Kammerspiele.
After living in Los Angeles for 3 years, she started working for Katrin Wans and Greta Carl at Talent Republic Agency.
