KIDA RAMADAN
DIRECTOR
Kida Ramadan has been working successfully as an actor for decades. In 2017, he ventured into the director’s chair when he co-directed the film “Kanun,” which premiered at the Hof Film Festival. In 2019, he shot his first solo directorial project, “In Berlin Grows No Orange Tree,” in collaboration with Südstern and ARD. For this film, he was not only director, but also the concept creator, co-writer, leading actor, and co-producer.
His current feature film, the compelling drama “Egalité,” which he co-wrote with Constantin Lieb and produced with his own company, opened in German theaters in January 2022.

The feature film premiered at the Cologne Film Festival in October and was released in German cinemas on October 24th. Rapid Eye Movies is responsible for the release of the film, in which Lilith Stangenberg plays Martha, a pregnant woman who decides to give up her child for adoption.
