Patricia Barona holds more than twenty years of experience in representation, film production, and film financing. Patricia completed a master’s degree in business administration and communications at the University of Hamburg and Lüneburg, and the European master’s programme in audiovisual management MEGA at the Media Business School in Spain. She began her career at the FilmFund Hamburg and Filmfest Hamburg. She then worked as a creative producer, in business affairs, in film financing, and as a producer for several years before becoming a talent agent with Above the Line.

For Patricia, representing clients is an opportunity to offer not only industry-leading contractual and financial representation, but also creative feedback and mentorship to talents as they tell their own stories and develop their careers. Originally from Mexico, she now lives and works in Berlin.

As one of Talent Republic’s four CEOs, Patricia represents writers, directors, and cinematographers.

CLAUDIA VOGT

Claudia Vogt has a multi-perspective view on the film industry. She studied acting at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. Subsequently, she was an ensemble member at Staatstheater Kassel and Schauspiel Leipzig an acted in numerous film and television productions. While working as an actress, she supported various colleagues in the realization of their film projects and developed a clear understanding of the production side of filmmaking.

This led to the desire to switch sides within the creative process and offer her own take on storytelling. She studied digital image creation, editing, sound design and film finance and began working as a documentary filmmaker and producer.

As a certified film production manager (CCI), Claudia specialized in film production and worked for Berlin-based film production companies as well as for the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB), where she was assistant executive producer before joining Patricia Barona in 2022.
