Stefanie Schmitz-Misrahi studied at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Her feature films include “Back for good,” which was shown as the opening film of the Perspektive Deutsches Kino at the Berlinale 20217, and “Co-Pilot/ Die Welt wird eine andere sein,” directed by Anne Zohra Berrached and which was nominated for the Panorama Audience Award at the Berlinale 2021 and was shortlisted for the German Film Award.

CAMERA ROLL
Here are three of my favourite photos in my camera roll: two morning coats untouched for 30 years, a mummified butterfly and a screenshot of the website of the Heavens's Gate cult, still online in the same form since the 90s. I also have 1376 other equally favourite photos of my cats. They are really cute.
