CLINCHEN
"While shooting a music video with my good friend and collaborator Sander Houtkruijer in a fighting gym, I came across a group of fighters practicing a technique called clinching. I was immediately struck by the almost dance-like nature of it. What started with force and aggression gradually softened as exhaustion set in—until, in the end, they were holding each other, almost offering comfort. I could have watched for hours."
